Well, that's an official wrap on "3 musketeers"! Its 2am, we've worked 4 almost 24 hrs. and 2 celebrate, I need Micky D's! Good night!

The teaser played in 3D at a large convention called the Giornate Professionali di Cinema di Sorrento in Sorrento, Italy which also, reportedly, screened footage from Paul Anderson’s The Three Musketeers 3D and the trailer for Terrence Malick’s The Tree of Life.

Infine, quattro minuti in esclusiva de I Tre Moschettieri (di Paul W.S. Anderson, con un cast d'eccezione che include Milla Jovovich e Orlando Bloom). Diciamo che per quel poco che ho visto non rientrerà nei miei 3D fondamentali del prossimo anno, neanche nelle scene d'azione in cui sembra avere un ruolo piuttosto espressivo.

What you won't see in the footage below are the other stars: Logan Lerman as D'Artagnan and Matthew MacFadyen, Ray Stevenson and Luke Evans as the Musketeers Athos, Porthos and Aramis, respectively. That first look is being saved for a later date.

Oh and BTW, I saw a rough cut of "3 musketeers" and its SIIIIIICK!!!! No cgi, no effects, temp score, but the movie looks INCREDIBLE!!!

The hot-headed young D'Artagnan (Logan Lerman) joins forces with three veteran Musketeers to prevent the villainous Cardinal Richelieu (Christoph Waltz) from seizing the French throne and engulfing Europe in war in this fast-paced, action-filled reboot of Alexandre Dumas' classic 17th-century adventure.

When famed Musketeers Athos (Matthew Macfayden), Aramis (Luke Evans), and Porthos (Ray Stevenson) steal highly coveted project designs from a high-security vault, the sweet taste of success is short-lived. Their beautiful partner in crime, Milady (Milla Jovovich), drugs the trio and sells the designs to a higher bidder, the ultra-cool Englishman, Buckingham (Orlando Bloom). It's a major blow to the famed swordsmen. So when, three years later, the devil-may-care young D'Artagnan journeys to Paris to realize his dream of becoming a Musketeer, he finds them a shadow of their former selves, working menial jobs and seeking a cause worth serving.

The conniving Cardinal Richelieu hatches a deadly plot to overthrow the young King Louis (Freddie Fox). Employing the doubly agent Milady to do the dirty work, he frames the King's new bride, Queen Anne (Juno Temple) in an affair with Buckingham. If the King buys into the lie, war with England will follow, the Queen will die and the people of France will demand a stronger leader-Richelieu himself-to see them through the crisis. If the King doesn't buy into the lie, peace may yet stand a chance. But for peace to ensure, the three Musketeers and their young apprentice must undertake their most dangerous mission ever-to receive a priceless diamond necklace from the impregnable Tower of London and return it to the Queen in time for an all-important ball.

Can the four friends out-duel the armies of guards that will try to stop them? Can they outwit Richelieu, Buckingham and Milady? But most of all, can they re-kindle their "one-for-all and all-for-one" spirit of camaraderie and courage?

Summit is also hoping to shoot a second "Red" in the first quarter of 2012, with an eye toward replicating last year's success. And it has high hopes for starting a franchise with Constantin's 3D "The Three Musketeers," directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, opening Oct. 14.

"We think 'Musketeers' is a home run that will have huge international appeal," says Summit production president Erik Feig.

The studio has also sent out more complete bios of the Musketeers:

Aramis (Luke Evans) is the James Bond of his time, a cunning Musketeer and an expert martial artist, but also a ladies man. Passionate and ambitious, Aramis is one of the best of the best and he knows it.

Athos (Matthew MacFayden) is seen as the leader of the three Musketeers and acts as a father figure to D'Artagnan, taking him under his wing. Anthos is also quite secretive, with a mysterious past that haunts him throughout the film.

Porthos (Ray Stevenson) is the brute force of the three Musketeers, but also has an honest and slightly gullible side. Outgoing and boisterous, he enjoys the luxuries that come along with the popularity, particularly the wine, the food and the women.

D'Artagnan (Logan Lerman) is trying to prove that he is worthy to join the ranks of the Musketeers, which makes him more dangerous than anyone else, because he has very little to fear and is unknown to the enemy.

Macfadyen about the sea shell grotto at Schloss Weissenstein/Pommersfelden, one of the fantastic filming locations: „The set decorators had put many water basins in there and so there were many light reflexions on the splendid ceiling. What a sight that was! Beautiful and I felt so happy and privileged for being able to work in this extraordinary atmosphere.“
