Author M. Ó hÓgartaigh dedicates book to Matthew Macfadyen

Author, Margaret Ó hÓgartaigh, has dedicated her latest book to Matthew Macfadyen. The book is entitled "Quiet Revolutionaries: Irish Women in Education, Medicine and Sport, 1861-1964". The book launches in Dublin in April 2011.

Cubbie asked Margaret why she dedicated her fourth book to Matthew and she related the following:

I begin my book with a quotation from Jane Austen, 'if you please no reference to examples in books, the pen has been in male hands', it is from Persuasion. Matthew, who loves reading, has made the past engaging and exciting through his work in various historical dramas.
